Convention Day 3

Saturday was Day 3 and the final day of Convention.  Here are the members of my team that attended convention with me, Peggy, Katie, Tammy, America, Jenn, and an adopted team member Kathy.  These are a great group of women I am proud to call my friends.

Convention was jam packed with great classes and projects and stamping ideas.  Stampin’ Up! threw us parties 2 of the evenings during convention and they gave away a lot of product.  I won a prize give away of a brand new stamp set with coordinating framelit that is in the new Holiday Catalog that will be available to order from the end of August.

I was super excited to win this because it’s one of my favorites in the catalog.  I thought I’d share a couple of the display boards of other new product from the Holiday Catalog, so you can drool over all the awesome stuff.

Here is a picture of all of the items I received FREE during convention!
Woo Hoo!  Check back tomorrow when I’ll share photos of the make & takes we made!

Convention Day 2

Friday was day 2 of convention and it was great.  Spending the general session in the morning with 5 of my team members was a lot of fun.  It was a first convention for 3 of them, so it’s really neat to see things through their eyes.  We had some great make & takes and classes again.  Peggy, my sister and I were both recognized for our 10 year anniversaries with Stampin’ Up! as well as our sales and earning the Grand Vacation to Hawaii next May.  I’m very thankful to all of my stampin’ friends that helped me earn the trip and have the amazing year I had.  It was also announced where the next Incentive trip we can earn is to.  I am SO excited!  It’s a cruise to the Mediterranean which is France, Spain and Italy.  Our earning time for this trip is July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 and the trip will be in May of 2016.

I’ll touch base with you after our final convention day on Saturday and then Sunday we’re headed back home ready to share everything with all of you.

Convention Fun Begins

Thursday was officially Day 1 of convention.  This is a few of just a “few” of the demonstrators sharing in the fun.  We started off with general session in the morning where everyone received a free stamp set.  That’s always a great way to start things off!  We got the new Holiday catalog which goes live at the end of August.  OMG is it awesome!  My wish list is huge, but luckily convention attendees get to shop the “Stampin’ Up! store and can purchase a number of the items in the catalog while we’re here.

Next we had classes to attend and a make & take project and then off to the demonstrator resource center for some hands on with new product and a Project Life presentation.  We had a special lunch with a group of demonstrators from around the country and then I participated in a swap.

This is the card I created for the swap.  The patterned design on the left of the card was done by sponging the inside of the Honeycomb embossing folder with Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay.  Next I spritzed the embossing folder with water and laid Watercolor Paper on the embossing folder and rubbed it to transfer the ink from the folder to the paper.
