Today is the official start of the Last Chance/Retiring List from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I want to start sharing some of the products that will be leaving us soon so you can see how wonderful they are and snag them before their gone!  Today’s card features the Words of Cheer Bundle, the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper, Real Red Sheer Ribbon and the Wonderful Gems.  Please note that the Real Red Sheer Ribbon and the Wonderful Gems are available at a 15% savings!

Stampin' Up! Words of Cheer stamp set, Stampin' Studio

Measurements: 

  • Old Olive: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4” for card base
  • Basic White: 4” x 5-1/4” and 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
  • Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper: 2” x 5”
  • Real red Sheer Ribbon: 8” 

Instructions:

  • Fold Old Olive cardstock at score line for card base.
  • Attach Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper to left side of large Basic White piece, then stamp sentiment in memento ink on lower right corner
  • Tie a bow in the Real red Sheer Ribbon and attach to the large Basic White piece secure ends to the backside with Stampin’ Seal, then attach the Basic White piece to the card front.
  • Stamp flower image with Memento Ink on the remaining Basic White piece and color the greenery with Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, and the flowers and berries with Light and Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends.
  • Die-cut the flower image using the Christmas Cheer Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  • Attach the flower die-cut piece to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and embellish card with 3 of the clear embellishments from the Wonderful Gems

Whimsical Trees

I created this card for a tutorial group I am in with the leaders of my team.  I love the soft mint and pink shades found in the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper.  

Stampin' Up! Whimsical Trees stamp set, Whimsy & Wonder DSP, Stampin' Studio

Measurements: 

  • Thick Basic White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4 for card base
  • Mossy Meadow: 5-1/4” x 4” and 1-3/4” x 3-3/4” and 2-1/2” x 1-3/4”
  • Blushing Bride: 1-1/2” x 3-1/2”
  • Whisper White: 1-1/4” x 3-1/4” and 2-1/2” x 1-3/4”
  • Wonder & Whimsy Specialty Designer Series Paper: 3-3/4” x 5”
  • Blushing Bride Grosgrain Ribbon: 6” and 4”

 Instructions:

  • Use Versamark ink to stamp ornament image on long piece of Basic White, then emboss with Silver Embossing Powder and Heat tool.
  • Once embossing has cooled color in the ornaments with Light Flirty Flamingo, Light Mint Macaron and Light Mossy Meadow, then attach this piece to the Blushing Bride piece and then onto the long thin piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock
  • Attach the previous layers on the Wonder & Whimsy Specialty Designer Series Paper and wrap the longer piece of Blushing Bride Grosgrain Ribbon around paper covering the top edge of the ornament strings, and secure to the backside with Seal Adhesive
  • Take small piece of ribbon and tuck one end under the first ribbon, then tie a knot securing the knot over the ornament strings
  • Attach the Wonder & Whimsy layer to the large Mossy Meadow piece and then attach this to the card front.
  • Stamp sentiment with Versamark ink on small Basic White piece and emboss with Silver Embossing Powder and Heat Tool.
  • Once the embossing has cooled use the small die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out the sentiment and also use it to cut from small Mossy Meadow piece.
  • Use Light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend to color around the edge of the sentiment piece, then attach the sentiment layers to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Blackberry Beauty Suite

The other day I posted a gift packaging idea that used the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper (if you missed it, can view it HERE) and today I wanted to share a card that features the same paper as well as some other products from the Blackberry Beauty Suite from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I used the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack, along with the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Gold Shimmer Ribbon.

Measurements: 

  • Rich Razzleberry: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4” for card base and 2-1/2” x 3-1/4”
  • Early Espresso: 2-1/4” x 3”
  • Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Gold Shimmer Ribbon: 8” 

Instructions:

  • Fold Rich Razzleberry cardstock at score line for card base.
  • Attach Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper to card front with Seal.
  • Attach Early Espresso cardstock to small Rich Razzleberry cardstock, then attach to the card front with Stampin’ Seal as shown
  • From the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack, find the leaves & acorn die cut and the small label and color over all of the white parts of these die cuts with the Ivory Stampin’ Blend to give a softer look to them.
  • Attach the leaves & acorn die-cut to the card as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Stamp “Hello” from Inspiring Thoughts on the label in Early Espresso ink, then attach to card with Dimensionals.
  • Tie a bow with the Gold Shimmer Ribbon and attach to the card as shown with a Mini Glue Dot
