Fall Fest: Nearing the End

The fifth and final “official” project for Fall Fest (I’ll be sharing the take home project tomorrow) was a recipe card holder using some of the envelopes and  cards from the Watercolor Winter Simply Created Card Kit.  This project was a huge hit and many commented that they were going to make more of these to share some of their favorite recipes.

Using 4 of the Crumb Cake envelopes from the kit, we stamped them with the Letterpress Winter stamp set and attached them all together in one long line.  We then covered the spots on each envelope (where an address would go) with 1/2 of the striped card from the kit.  We printed up the four recipes from the food we had at Fall Fest.  these were adhered to Cherry Cobbler card stock and inserted into each of the envelope pockets.

A little stamping, texture embossing and cutting yielded up the adorable tag and the whole thing was accessorized with Cherry Cobbler Linen Ribbon and a Snowflake Embellishment.  Everyone received an entire roll of the ribbon to add to their stash for the day.

When all of the stamping was done and the goodies were given out, we gave all of these special stampers one final parting gift for choosing to spend their Saturday with us.  They each got the Good Greetings stamp set that was an exclusive hostess stamp set which was only available in September and October.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the “Take home kit” they each received as well as a recap.
