I have surprised myself at how much I really like the High Tide stamp set which is featured on page 25 of the Occasions Catalog. This set is extremely versatile in that it could be used for men or women, change out the sentiments and the images would work great for sympathy, thinking of you, birthdays, graduations, the list goes on and on. For this card I decided to texture the card base with the Seaside Embossing Folder, which I thought tied in well with the water by the light house.
Todays’ Color Palette
Look closely at the card front: can you see that the middle section is missing? I started with a regular card base measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″. Next I cut a slice out of the front of the card at 7-1/4″ and again at 5-1/2″. When I assembled the card, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to let the matted image piece “float” in the front of the card that has the missing middle.
Sizes
Island Indigo is 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″. Old Olive is 3-1/4″ x 4″. Whisper White is 3″ x 3-3/4″ and 4″ x 5-1/4 for inside.
