I wanted to share with you a few more of the details of our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat. You can read my first post about it HERE. We had 80 people in attendance this year plus myself and Peggy. It’s not an easy task to get 82 people in one photo, but look it, we did it! These are an amazing group of women!
Each year at retreat we recognize all of those people who are attending their first Stampin’ Sisters Retreat. We call them “newbies” and this year we had 14 attending.
Each newbie got a Stampin’ Sisters mini notebook with a pen, notepad and sticky tabs inside it.
Next we recognised our team members who attended. We had 17 team members attending.
They each received the Celebrations Duo Embossing Folders.
The cost for our weekend long retreat is $200 and we allow monthly payments or we offered a free gift for those that paid the whole thing in one payment. Those that prepaid upfront received this cute Glassine Bag that held a package of the Metallic Enamel Shapes.
Of course our retreat involves stamping, and lots of it (we’ll get to that in the days to come) but it’s also about Prize Patrol. Since our retreat had a Carnival theme this year we played a popular carnival game called the Fish Bowl Game. We drew tickets to see who got the chance to win and all they had to do was toss a ball into a fishbowl and …
…they won a fish. On the bag of the “you’re a winner” tag was a number 1-80 which corresponded to a specific prize. We gave out approximately $800 in prizes for this game. Everyone was a winner!
I’ve got lots more to share with you , so be sure to come back tomorrow for details of the fun filled event.
We had a great time. There are always lots of surprises and prizes. It is fun to have a whole weekend of doing something you truly enjoy, especially when all of the hard things are done for you (the designing of cards and all of the prep work). It is a fun packed weekend.
Thanks Brenda, It was awesome having you at retreat again this year.
