It’s Day 3 of my series on the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper / Foil Sheets. Today’s card pairs the gorgeous Old Olive print from the Noble Peacock Specialty DSP package with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in another Fun Fold Card.
Color Combo
I started with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I then scored it at 4-1/4″ and then cut the right half of the front panel off at 2-1/2″ leaving only left half of the front, which measures 3″ wide. Next I attached a 4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of the Old Olive print from the Noble Peacock Specialty DSP to the left flap. This part of the card opens top to bottom. For the next step, take a look at the Blackberry Bliss layer under the stamped image. That part is actually a flap that opens to the right. The piece measures 2-3/4″ tall x 5″ wide and is scored at 3/4″. The 3/4″ part of the Blackberry Bliss piece is attached to the backside of the Whisper White card insert, which measures 4″ x 5-1/4″. After attaching the flap to the back of the Whisper White piece, I attached it to the inside of the card. Now for the stamping. Using the large rose image from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set, I stamped off before stamping it on the 2-1/2″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White. The leaves are stamped in Old Olive and the words from the same stamp set are in Blackberry Bliss as well. As you can see, the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper really steps up the elegance of this fun card.
