Halloween Treats with Boxes & Bags

I’m nearing the end of the Halloween Treat packaging from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla swap.  Today’s treat packing features some of our different boxes & bags.  Both of the boxes and the bags make for quick and easy packaging.

Stampin' Up! Gold Mini Pizza Boxes, Tags, Tags, Tags stamp set, Trio of Tags Dies, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla Halloween Treat Swap, Stampin' Studio

Janice Weightman decorated the Gold Mini Pizza Box with a piece of the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper and wrapped a piece of the Basic Black Scallop Edge Ribbon around the box and tied it in a bow before adding a label.  The sentiment comes form the Tags, Tags, Tags stamp set and is cut out with the coordinating Trio of Tags Dies.

Robin Karolewicz  used the Layering Circles Dies to cut a hole in the lid of the box, then added some fabulous texture  with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder.  The sentiment, label and scrolled frame all came from the Spooktacular Bash Bundle.

Stampin' Up! Kraft Pillow Boxes, Spooktacular Bash stamp set, Ornate Frames Dies,Wicked Dies, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla Halloween Treat Swap, Stampin' Studio

Sue Coomber used the Kraft Pillow Box and brayered over the entire box with Cajun Craze ink.  The word Wicked and the spider were die cut using the Wicket Dies, while the sentiment from Spooktacular Bash was cut out with the Ornate Frames Dies.

Stampin' Up! Copper Dotted Treat Bags, Monster Bash DSP, Ornate Frames Dies, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla Halloween Treat Swap, Stampin' Studio

Tammy Dahlke used the Copper Dotted Treat Bag for her packaging and added some Basic Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon before adding an oval of Monster Bash DSP.  Once again the Ornate Frames Die was used for the scroll work and instead of stamping, Tammy used the Monster Bash DSP and cut the images out with paper Snips before adding them to the label.  She finished the packaging with a few of the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes.

Stampin' Up! Harvest Hellos stamp set, Apple Builder Punch, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla Halloween Treat Swap, Stampin' Studio

Francheska Gleichsner put a home-made cut out cookie inside one of our Gusseted Cello Bags and attached a piece of Monster Bash DSP to the outside.  The sentiment and pumpkin both come from the Harvest Hellos.

Halloween Treats with Coffin Treat Boxes

Day 4 of the Halloween treats from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla Swap all feature the Coffin Treat Boxes.  The coffins measure 2-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ x 1-1/4″ and come 12 to a package.  They go together very easily and are food safe so they can be filled with wrapped treats or baked goods.

I’ve admired these projects over and over again, and with that sometimes the creators name comes off.  That’s what happened with this one and I don’t remember who made it, but I love it!  It’s hard to tell in the photo, but there is a window in the coffin lid so you can see a face inside the box!  The box is filled with 3 mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, which have a circle cut out from the Monster Bash designer Series Paper attached to them.  The top Peanut Better Kiss is attached to the inside of the box with a Stampin’ Dimensional, so that it stays in place and can be viewed when the lid is closed.  How clever!  The lid was also run through the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder before it was assembled; it adds great texture to the packaging.

Stampin' Up! Coffin Treat Boxes, Wonderfully Wicked stamp set, The Raven stamp set, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla Halloween Treats, Stampin' Studio

Unfortunately, there’s no name on the second Coffin Treat Box either.  Monster Bash DSP was added to the lid of the box and stamped images from Wonderfully Wicked and The Raven stamp sets were cut out by hand and added to the Very clever idea to have the Raven standing on the coffin.

Stampin' Up! Coffin Treat Boxes, Boo to You stamp set, Ornate Frames Dies, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla Halloween Treats, Stampin' Studio

Lisa Lange created the last Coffin Treat Box and this one has a real trick inside!  Silver Shimmery Ink was rubbed over the coffin lid to add a little eeriness to the it.  The sentiment comes from the Boo to You stamp set and once again those “gotta have them” Ornate Frames Dies” were used to add extra interest.  The skull and cross bones are from the Monster Bash Embellishments and are the perfect accent piece.  Now, are you ready to see  what trick is inside?

When you open the Coffin Treat Box, this little guy pops right up out of the box!  Lisa stamped, colored and cut out Frankenstein from the Boo to You stamp set and attached a 1/2″ x 4″ piece of Window Sheet to the back with Mini Glue Dots.  After filling the box with treats, she just pushed Frankenstein back so he was laying down and closed the lid.  Isn’t that a brilliant idea?  A Coffin Treat Box filled with a trick and a treat!

I’ve got a few more Halloween Treats to share with you next week so be sure to come back.  Here’s the shopping list for today’s projects.

Halloween treats with Clear Tiny Treat Boxes

This next bunch of Halloween treats I have to share from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla swap all use the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper.

Stampin' Up! Clear Tiny Treat Boxes, Halloween treats, Monster Bash DSP, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla, Stampin' Studio

Cindy Pietrowski created this first treat box by inserting a piece of the Monster Bash DSP into the Clear Tiny Treat Box.  The paper covered the sides and bottom but not the front or back of the box so that the candy treat is visible when the box is closed.  She used the Spooktacular Bash stamp set for the sentiment and then used the Ornate Frames Dies to cut out the sentiment as well as the Dracula image from the DSP and the Granny Apple Green fancy frame.Stampin' Up! Clear Tiny Treat Boxes, Halloween treats, Monster Bash DSP, Stampin' Sisters Holiday Hoopla, Stampin' Studio

Lynn Thorp created this little cutie by wrapping a band of  Blackberry Bliss cardstock around the box from front to back. Like Cindy, she used the Ornate Frame Dies to cut from the Monster Bash DSP.  The sentiment is from the Everything Festive stamp set and is layered on Ovals die cut with the Stitched Shaped Dies.

Kelly Acheson wrapped a piece of the Monster Bash DSP around the Clear Tiny Treat Box and secured it with a Mini Library Clip.  Ornate Frames Dies cut out the black scroll frame as well as the stamped Dracula image.

I’m so sorry to say, I don’t know who created this treat.  I didn’t find a name attached to it.  Monster Bash DSP was attached the the sides and back of the box and Pumpkin Pie cardstock to the front.  The bat was cut by hand and “spooky” from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set was stamped in Silvery Shimmer Ink, then a set of the Googly Eyes were attached.  The lid of the box has basic Black cardstock and another sentiment was cut out with those Ornate Frames Dies.
