Stamp, Crop & Cruise retreat, Stampin' Studio

Oh my goodness, Dave and I just returned from a fabulous week in the warmth of the Caribbean on my first Stamp Crop & Cruise Retreat!  We had so much fun with those that attended the event with us. I want to share all the details with you as far as wheat we did and where we went and all of the projects we made and the goodies my guests were given.  We sailed out of Tampa Florida on January 26th and Dave and I got right to work getting our Stampin’ Studio all set up on the ship.

We had this space reserved for the entire 7 day cruise.  I had a stamping station with displays of the projects they would be making over the course of the event.  Each of my guests had a table of their own to work on.

On each of their tables they were welcomed with a bag tag and big collapsible “Goody” bag filled with all the projects for the week as well as collapsible trash can, a bow maker (made by my dad), a name tag,a water bottle and a flyer for next years Stamp Crop & Cruise Retreat!

Here you can see everything that was in their Goody bag as well as all of the extra give-aways they each received.  We made 8 big projects (which I’ll showcase in the upcoming days) and they got a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook, an 8″ x 8″ shadowbox picture frame, a stamp set, 8 rolls of ribbon, 4 packages of embellishments, an Aqua Painter, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Sponges, and Multi-purpose Glue.

Over the coarse of my 15 years as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’ve hosted many different events such a s classes, parties, day retreats, and full weekend retreats with my sister Peggy, this was the first time I had hosted a week long retreat on a cruise ship.  These are the amazing women I was blessed to spend the week with.  We had attendees from Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska, Maryland, Georgia and California.  We had so much fun and I’ve already got the cruise for 2020 booked.  Space is limited and we’re already about 25% filled.  I will not have the new Stamp Crop & Cruise site updated until later in the week, but here’s the basic information.

I’ll be sharing projects and ports and more, so be sure to come back tomorrow.

A Little Valentine’s Inspiration with All My Love Suite

Last week I shared the display my team member Tammy created using the Happy Tails Bundle and Nine Lives stamp set.  You can see them HERE and HERE.  Today I wanted to share the creative talents of another team mate Gail Diss.  Gail created this adorable framed art piece using the All My Love Suite and the Nine Lives and Happy Tails stamp sets too!  The All My Love Suite in the Occasions catalog is very versatile.  Check out the Forever Lovely stamp set and coordinating Lovely Flowers Edgelit Dies, the Meant to Be stamp set and coordinating Be Mine Stitched Framelits, the gorgeous Designer Series Paper and ribbon, cardstock and embellishments that are all part of this suite.

Gail made this pretty display showcasing some of the products in the suite.

I am so in love with this adorable trio of stacked Sweet Cups (found in the catalog) .  Gail added the All My Love Designer Setries Paper to the outside of the Sweet Cups to really give them a festive flair then added a tag and the All My Love Ribbon!

Wouldn’t this make a sweet little party favor?  Gail stamped the hearts on tissue paper then wrapped it around a tiny candle and put it in a Clear Acrylic Box tied up with a bow.

Nine Lives

Yesterday I shared a display my team member Tammy Dahlke made featuring the Happy Tails Bundle and the Nine Lives stamp set.  If you missed my Happy Tails post you can view it HERE.  Today I wanted to share close up photos of the cards she created using the Nine Lives stamp set and the coordinating Cat Punch.

As with the Happy Tails stamp set, the Nine Lives set features spots and stripes that can be stamped on the main cat image.  There are also adorable sentiments and cute little cat accessories to stamp with.

How clever of Tammy to create the 9 cats in a circle to go with the sweet sentiment.

I am not a cat person so I’m not up on the different types of cats, but I adore this orange striped cat.

Notice how the cats are facing different directions?  All that’s required is to punch them out of different colored cardstock and flip a few over so that it’s looking to the right or the left.  It’s that simple.
