Happiness Surrounds & Snowfall Thinlits

This month, and only while supplies last, Stampin’ Up! has come out with an exclusive group of products they call the Snowflake Showcase.  I wanted to share some fun cards I made with the different items in this limited offering.

While the name Snowflake Showcase makes you think of winter, rest assured that you can do so much more than create Holiday or Winter-y cards.  I’ve used the Happiness Surrounds stamp set in the suite along with the Snowfall Thinlits to create this fresh and light friendship card.

Today’s Color Combo

I stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green after stamping off once for each leaf.  Next I added the Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon and some die cut leaves in Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, and Mango Melody.  The flower was stamped with two different images from the Happiness Surrounds stamp set before cutting it out with the Snowfall Thinlits.  This layer was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Next is the delicately detailed six petaled flower in Highland Heather finished off with another popped up stamped flower and a Rhinestone Jewel.  All of this is attached to a layer of Mango Melody and a Whisper White card base.  So, what do you think?  Are you surprised that product that is named Snowflake showcase can result in such a springtime looking card?

Everyone is LOVING the products in the Snowflake Showcase so much that the Whisper White Velvet Paper has already sold out.  All items are available through November 30th or when the supply of product runs out (which ever happens first).  You don’t want to miss out on owning the rest of the items in this offering, so check out all of the products below.  Just click the photos and you’ll be directed to my online store where you can place your order.

Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary

I just returned from celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary in Orlando, Florida at the On Stage event and I wanted to share a little bit about that!

Because it was the 30th anniversary and the fact that it was in Orlando, we had over 6000 demonstrators in attendance.  Let me just say how crazy it is to be with that many people that LOVE paper crafting!  This picture is a bit like “Where’s Waldo”  can you find me?

On Wednesday, Stampin’ Up! treated all of the leaders to a day at Epcot.

In the evening, not only did we get to see the fireworks, but we were treated to some scrumptious desserts.  My favorite were the donuts that were sauteed in a Fireball Whiskey caramel sauce topped with ice cream…can you say YUM!

We had a total of 14 team members attend the event, and that was a blast hanging out together every day!

As is common for Stamping events, many of us made gifts or swaps for each other.  Here’s my haul from our Stampin’ Sisters team.

Stampin’ Up! also showers us with gifts and awards and we also got the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs.  Yay!

Saturday, Peggy and I had lunch with Rich Jutkins, the President of Stampin’ Up! It was great to be able to pick his brain a bit and discuss our thoughts and get some inside information.

For me, the very best part of the week was spending time with my incredible team.  We celebrated new team members, promotions, anniversaries with Stampin’ Up!, sales milestones, and earning the trip to Greece next summer.  If this looks like fun to you, you should become one of us and join our Stampin’ Sisters team.  there is an incredible special for joining that starts in January during Sale-a-bration.  I’ll share more on that later.

Oh, I’ve got great news, because I know you’re dying to see the new products…While I can’t show you pictures in side the catalog, we can share photos of the product display boards, and I took quite a few, so tomorrow I’ll start sharing some of the new product that will be available to order come January.  See you back here then!
