More with the Varied Vases Bundle

If I haven’t convinced you that you need the Varied Vases Bundle yet, maybe today’s card will do it.  Once again, I’ve used both the Varied Vases stamp set and the Vases Builder Punch to create a sweet card.

The card base is Melon Mambo with a layer of Whisper White and a layer of Powder Pink that has been run through the Big Shot with the Tufted Embossing Folder.  Next, I added a piece of the Granny Apple Green Texture Weave Ribbon.  After cutting out the label with the Foliage Frame Framelits, I stamped the scallop boarder and stem in Granny Apple Green and the Hello sentiment and flower in Melon Mambo.  The leaves and flower  were punched out using the Vases Builder Punch.  The vase was punched out of the Garden Impressions Designer Series paper.

Greece is the word!

I am so incredibly thrilled to announce that as of last night, I have officially earned the 2019 Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Greece.  The Greek Isles to be exact!  That’s right, Dave and I will be enjoying 7 nights on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas next summer, thanks to all of my incredible stamping friends.  Over the years you have become like family to Dave & I and we are sincerely grateful for your love, loyalty and support.  You are the best!

Next years trip is July 7th- 14th and we’ll go to Rome Italy, then Santorini, Mykonos, Athens and Katakoton Greece.  How amazing does that sound?  My sister Peggy (my first team member) and her husband Tony will be going too as she earned the trip and another team member Amanda Waldhart is super close to earning the trip too!

We leave next Thursday on Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Incentive trip to Alaska, (I know, the perks for this job are incredible!) and I  had set a goal to earn next years trip by the time we left for Alaska and thanks to all of you I did it…we did it!  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

If taking one of these amazing trips is something you’re interested in, why not join my team and work towards earning the 2020 trip to somewhere amazing!  There’s a great starter kit offer going on right now!  You can read about it HERE

Thanks again, you are the best!

Varied Vases…it’s just that good!

I’ve got another simple card using the Varied Vases Bundle (stamp set and Vases Builder Punch).  This time I’m using shades of blue, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana to be exact.  Seem to me that no matter what I do with this stamp set, I end up with a gorgeous card…it’s just that good!

The base of the card as well as all the layers are Whisper White.  I only added color in the use of the Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon and the inks, but isn’t it amazing the amount of interest that can be created with a little shading and water coloring?

I stamped the vases with Bermuda Bay ink, then picked up some ink with an Aqua Painter and color washed each vase and allowed them to dry before punching them out with the vases Builder Punch.  The stems and sentiment were stamped in Memento ink then the flowers were stamped  with Coastal Cabana.  The two flowers on the outside were stamped full strength while the center flower was stamped off first to get a lighter shade of the Coastal Cabana.  Once all the stamping and water coloring was completed, I popped the vases up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give them more depth.
