Tuscan Vineyard with the Stamparatus

This card featuring the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set reminds me of one of my favorite places on earth.  It was just over two years ado that we spent 2 1/2 weeks in Italy and Tuscany was our favorite area. The gorgeous rolling hills and vineyards everywhere were stunning.

I created this card using the Stamparatus and a technique I call Multi-colored Stamping.  I’ll be sharing a video on 4 ways to use your Stamparatus this Wednesday that will feature the Multi-colored stamping as well as 3 other techniques so be sure to check that out.  For now I want to share the products I used and the card measurements.

Measurements:

Fresh Fig Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″ folded in half for the card base and 4″ x 2-3/4″ run through Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ for scallop Oval                                                                    Old Olive Cardstock: 5″ x 3-1/4″ run through Layered Leaves Embossing Folder                                            Whisper White Cardstock: 4-1/8″ 2-7/8″ and 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ for stamping

Supplies:

Abstract Impressions Bundle

With a crisp, clean layout and bright, bold flowers this card, featuring the Abstract Impressions Bundle, reminds me of summer.  The sentiment makes this a perfect thank you card, but it could easily be swapped out with any sentiment to suit your needs.  This would be a great card to make multiples of and keep on hand waiting  to stamp the sentiment based on your need at the time.

Color Palette

Stampin' Up! Stampin' Studio Color PaletteI started with a 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Whisper White cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot with the corner floral die from the Springtime Thinlits Dies.  Next I stamped the sentiment on the top portion of that piece of Whisper White and attached it to the top left area of a piece of Basic Black that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″.  Sponge Daubers were used to color the die cut image, which was then attached to the lower right are of the Basic Black piece with Multi-purpose Glue.  The black “mat” was then attached to a Thick Whisper White card base.
