Do you know what a bunch of avid paper-crafters and I will be doing 7 months from now?  We’ll be enjoying fun in the sun and stamping and cropping our hearts out in the Caribbean.  I would LOVE to have you join us on a week long adventure aboard Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas.  I have been hosting weekend retreats for the past 12 years which have been a blast and now we’re taking it to the sea for not just a weekend but a full week of fun.  Don’t miss the boat… I would love for you to attend.

Stampin' Studio Stamp Crop & Cruise Retreat

Here’s what some of my retreat guests have said in the past about my retreats:

  • Tina’s Retreat is undoubtedly the best thing I do for myself every year.  It’s an amazing time away and something I look forward to every year.  I’ve gone to retreat for the past 3 years and prior to that it was something I had always thought about doing but was worried about silly things like what if I don’t know anybody?  If you enjoy stamping and want to surround yourself with some of the nicest, sweetest ladies in the world sign up for this retreat.  I promise you will not regret it!!  —Jill T
  • When I first met Tina it was at 2 separate home parties and I had a great time at them. So I thought about the retreat but I had a few reservations. I didn’t know if I wanted to go by myself and it was a lot of money. I did sign up because I love making cards and I love creative people. I had so much fun! I am so impressed with your theme for the weekend, how well organized the weekend went and how thought out the projects were. It was so worth my weekend, the money and bonus I made so many new stamping sisters. –Lori S
  • The Retreat was phenomenal! This was my first year attending and I hope just the first of many more to come. I found out about the retreat from my friend and I was told that this yearly gathering was fun-filled, creatively inspiring, and full of surprises. The event did not disappoint!!  Having planned some events myself I have respect and admiration for Tina and all of the hard work, long hours and attention to detail in planning that made our weekend so wonderful. I loved the theme and all the goodies we so generously received.  What a delightful weekend and escape from the demands of daily life! — Shirley M
  • I absolutely loved the retreat!  It was my first time going and I was wondering just how much I would make and take home and what other products we might receive. I got so much stuff I was shocked. It seemed like every few minutes she handed out something else for us to use on a project or just take home and use on our own.  I definitely got my money’s worth and more!  We made cards and projects galore. It was such fun to meet others who also like to stamp and spend the weekend getting to know them also. — Jodell Q
  • Retreat means to me that I get to get away from the busy life for a weekend with my stamping friends and don’t have to worry about coming up with any ideas for projects.  I get to just make the wonderful projects that Tina comes up with and come home with much more than I came with.  She showers us with free gifts, fun games, great friendships and lasting memories.  Each project is lovingly created and packaged for us!  I have been attending Tina’s weekend retreat for 8 or 9 years.  She has opened her arms and welcomed me and my friends.  I feel truly blessed to have met Tina and get to enjoy her creative energy.  —Kim V

Rainbow Stampin’ with the Stamparatus

This card is so bright and festive, it’s got to make the recipient happy, right?  I created this “rainbow stamping” with the Stamparatus.  What’s a Stamparatus you ask?

Stampin' Up! All Thinks Thanks stamp set, Stampin' Studio

A “must-have” tool for all stampers, the Stamparatus helps you perfectly align stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and precisely, and get complete ink coverage.  It works well with clear-mount red rubber stamps and photopolymer stamps.  The Stamparatus was created by stampers for stampers, (I was even on the design team) so it has all the features you want: 2 magnets to hold the paper in place; foam mat for use with photopolymer stamps; rulers on 2 sides for quick measuring; 2 open edges so you can use larger paper; and 2 reversible plates for 4 sides to work with.

How to Rainbow Stamp with the Stamparatus

For today’s card, I attached the stamp to one of the plates of the Stamparatus and colored the top portion of the stamp with my Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker, then stamped it on my paper.  I wiped the ink off the stamp and colored another section of the stamp with Mango Melody and stamped it and so on, with the Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape.  By markering and stamping then wiping off the stamp, I didn’t have to worry about my markers becoming contaminated with the previous color.  This also made the on paper blending of one color to the next fool-proof.

The “mosaic” background was achieved by punching out various pieces of matching cardstock with the Pretty Label Punch and attaching them to a piece of Whisper White cardstock (and trimming the edges) before running it through the Big Shot with the Hexagon Embossing Folder.

The Stamparatus is available to order starting June 1st at 12:00pm Mountain Time
