The Stamparatus is coming!

I can finally tell you about a project I’ve been helping out with for a few years.  Stampin’ Up! asked leaders of the company to help in the concept, design and development of a brand new innovative product which has been named the Stamparatus.  It’s big news when something breaks the mold and changes everything. The Stamparatus will change the way you stamp, and before long, you’ll wonder how you crafted without it!

You’ve got questions…we’ve got answers:

My On Stage Adventure

Oh my goodness, I had a blast at Stampin’ Up!’s Conference they call On Stage.  I flew out to Salt Lake last Wednesday (and got back late last night) and met up with 2200 other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators for some fun filled days of training, stamping, friendship, and getting my first look at the new Occasions catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog.  Sorry I can’t share anything about the new catalogs or product yet, but I can share….

Here’s the bag each of us received at check in.  It held a new stamp set , which is fabulous, pens, a notebook and calendar, our name tag and awards.

Stampin' Up! On Stage, Make Up, Stampin' Studio

I received a call back in July asking me to give a presentation at the event.  Here I am getting my makeup professionally done before I presented.  Boy, did I feel pampered!

Here’s my after make up shot with Sara, the CEO of Stampin’ Up!  She gave me lots of encouragement before I went on.

Stampin' Up! On Stage, Presenting, Stampin' Studio

Peggy took this picture of me on the big screen while I was presenting.  I know, you’re probably wondering what I presented…it was a brand new stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  I have to wait until tomorrow to share it, so be sure to check back.

Stampin' Up! On Stage, Prize Patrol, Stampin' Studio

There is always lots of fun and excitement at any Stampin’ Up! sponsored event and prize patrol is one that gets everyone excited.  Wendy, Amanda and I all won the same stamp set…sorry, I can’t share this yet either.  I know, I’m quite the tease aren’t I ?  But as I said starting tomorrow I am allowed to share somethings and I’ll start out by sharing on e of the cards I created for my presentation featuring a new stamp set.

If this looks like a fun time, which it is, I’d love to have you join me and my team next time (April 2018) in Milwaukee, WI for On Stage Local and in November 2018 in Orlando.

Painted Harvest in blue

Stampin' Up! Painted Harvest stamp set, Stampin' Studio

Today I’m sharing a card I received for my birthday last Sunday.  My team member Sue Coomber made this for me featuring the Painted Harvest stamp set.

Color PaletteStampin' Studio Color Palette 11-10-17

Three things I love about this card:

  1. I love the unexpected blue flower.  Generally with this stamp set we see shades of yellows and oranges which are gorgeous, but I so LOVE the shades of blue featured here.
  2. I love that the image is showcased in a frame using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  It really makes the image pop as well as adds some texture to the card.
  3. You know me, I love me some texture and the Petal Burst Embossing Folder works beautifully to add depth and shading with the white on white card.
