Stampin' Up! Color Me Happy stamp set, Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Studio

I’ve been doing more playing around with the Stampin’ Blends markers and I just love them.  The color so smoothly and don’t leave lines where I’ve colored.  I also love how easy it is to blend with them.  I created this simple thank you card with the new Color Me Happy stamp set which is perfect for using the Stampin’ Blends with.  The flower has light and dark shades of the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, while the sentiment uses Night of Navy Blends.  I’ve added texture to the background with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder and a bit of Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon finishes off the card.

Birthday Sprinkles Box

Stampin' Up! Sprinkles of Life stamp set, Treat Tubes, Acetate Card Box, Stampin' Studio

My husband Dave LOVES sprinkles in whipped cream.  When I say he LOVES it, I’m not joking, he LOVES it!  His favorite dessert is a big huge bowl of whipped cream that he cover with sprinkles…so, I decided to make him a little sprinkle care package.  I filled six of our treat tubes with various sprinkles and put them inside our Acetate Card Box.  In order to fill the Acetate Box so that the treat tubes wouldn’t move all around I made an insert from the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. I cut this 4-3/8″ x 4-1/4″ and scored it at 1/2″, 1-7/8″, 2-3/8″ and 3-3/4″.  After folding the DSP on the score lines I inserted it into the box on top of the Treat Tubes, so that the box is perfectly filled up.  I added a belly band around the outside of the box with more of the Birthday Memories DSP and added a cupcake made from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.  This would make a great gift for any baker or other sprinkles lover you may know.

Stampin' Up! Swirly Snowflake Thinlits Dies, Stampin' Studio

It’s not snowing yet here in Wisconsin, but it sure feels like it wants to.  This card, created with the Swirly Snowflake Thinlits Dies sure reminders me of winter days and the holiday season.  I paired the Copper Foil Paper with Silver Foil Paper and the Year of Cheer Designer Series Specialty Paper.  I am so in love with the swirly die cuts and how it creates such movement in the card.
