Painted Autumn Suite Fall card

This is the fourth and final installment of the Painted Harvest Suite of products.  I shared three other projects the last three days using different products from the suite, like the Painted Harvest stamp set and coordinating Leaf Punch, The Touches of Nature Elements, Burlap Ribbon, Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper and the Painted Harvest Cardstock Pack.  You can view those previous posts by clicking HERE and HERE and HERE.

Today’s card has a real “fallish” feeling to it due to the color palette and the images.

This card starts off with a base of Peekaboo Peach cardstock followed by a layer of Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla.  Next is a piece of the scrumptious Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper and a thin strip of Early Espresso cardstock for a “ribbon” effect.  The sentiment from Painted Harvest is stamped in Cajun Craze and then die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and  Layering Ovals Framelits.  The group of three pumpkins is not stamped!  Wait, what?!?  That’s right, those pumpkins grouped together like that are one of the prints in the Painted Autumn DSP and were cut out by hand and popped up off the card with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Isn’t this paper great?!?

Painted Harvest Bundle makes a beautiful Christmas Wreath

I’ve been having so much fun with the Painted Harvest Bundle (Leaf Punch and Painted Harvest stamp set).  One of the most versatile images in the stamp set is the leaves which coordinate with the Leaf Punch.  I used it in this card to “build the Christmas Wreath.

I made the wreath by stamping the leaves in Tranquil Tide ink on Tranquil Tide cardstock four times and punching them out with the Leaf Punch.  Next I stamped the same ink full strength four times on Very Vanilla cardstock and four more times stamped off once.  All of the leaves were then punched out with the Leaf Punch leaving me with a total of 12 leaves which I added some dimension to them by curling the leaves under a bit with the Bone Folder.

Next was the placement of the Tranquil Tide cardstock leaves on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack.  I attached the leaves by the stems only with one at the 12 o’clock position, one at 3 o’clock, one at 6 o’clock and one at 9 o’clock.  Next up with the full strength stamped leaves on Very Vanilla cardstock.  I tucked the stems of these under the leaf petals of the first leaves at 1 o’clock, 4 o’clock, 7 o’clock and 10 o’clock.  Last are the lightest stamped leaves with again are tucked under the previous placed leaf petals at 2 o’clock, 5 o’clock, 8 o’clock, and 11 o’clock.  This finishes off the circular shape of the wreath.

I finished off the wreath by stamping some berries from the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set and punching them out with the Holly Berry Builder Punch.  These are attached to the wreath with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The rest of the card was completed with the sentiment from Holly Berry Happiness and wrapped with a piece of the Cherry Cobbler Double Stitched Ribbon before putting it all on a Tranquil Tide card base.

Painted Autumn Suite with Acorns

The Painted Autumn Suite is a fabulous group of products that really have an autumn flair to them, like the Autumn Harvest stamp set.  Likely the favorite image in the stamp set is the big bold sunflower that I used on the projects I shared yesterday.  In case you missed that post just click HERE.   For today’s card, I decided to feature the pretty little acorn images.

Let’s talk about all the product on this card that comes from the Painted Autumn Suite.  The suite features the Painted Autumn Cardstock Pack (Crumb Cake and Early Espresso cardstock used on this card as well as Garden Green).  The pretty printed paper on the card is from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper, (there are some gorgeous prints in this package.)  Notice the thin banner of Burlap Ribbon?  I used the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon from the suite and trimmed in half for a more delicate accent.  I love the little wooden accents called Touches of Nature Elements from the suite.  They add the perfect “woodsy” feel to the project.  The suite also includes the Painted Harvest stamp set which is where the acorn images come from ( I stamped three of them and cut them out by hand and popped them up on squares cut out from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The final product from the suite is the Leaf Punch, which I didn’t use on today’s card, but again, you can see it in yesterdays post

I just can’t say enough about the versatility of this stamp set.  Wait until you see the Christmas card I’m sharing tomorrow made with the products from the suite.
