Sneak Peek: Season of Glitz

Over the past few days. I’ve been giving you little sneak peeks of some new product suites from the Holiday catalog.  If you missed them, scroll down to the bottom as I’ve got links to those posts.  Today is the final sneak peek because tomorrow the Holiday Catalog goes live!  We’re taking a closer look at the Season of Glitz Suite featured on pages 20 & 21 of the Holiday catalog.  This suite features the Add a Little Glitz stamp set, Mini Tinsel Trim, Season of Glitz Mini Gift Bows, Red and Silver Glimmer Paper, the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and Old Olive and Real Red Markers.

This is one of those very rare times when you can get two very popular colored markers without buying a whole color family.  So if you’re like me, likely you could use a replacement for your Old Olive and Real Red Markers.  Now’s the time!  The samples I’m featuring today were made by my team member Roseann Basford.

My favorite stamp in the Add a Little Glitz stamp set is the sentiment that says “May your Season Sparkle.”  Roseann showcases this beautifully on a card with a tag made from the Scalloped tag Topper Punch tied up with some of the Mini Tinsel Trim and positioned atop a Red Glimmer Paper background.  The decorated box is one of our new Mini Pizza Boxes adorned with a Foil Snowflake more tinsel trim and a tree that was stamped and cut out by hand.  This box would hold some special little gift.  And finally check out the simple yet stunning gift tag she made.

For this project, Roseann made six 3″ x 3″ gift cards with matching Whisper White 3″ x 3″ Envelopes.  All of the images and sentiments on this project come from the Add a Little Sparkle stamp set.  I love how she added the Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the package image and the Tinsel Trim to the tags.  All six cards and envelopes fit inside the Mini Pizza Box.  Check out the adorable white box on the package decorating the Mini Pizza Box!  It’s one of the Season of Glitz Mini Gift Bows, isn’t it adorable?!

Sneak Peek: Painted Autumn Suite

As promised, I’ve got another sneak peek of another product suite from the Holiday Catalog which is available to order from on Friday, September 1st!  Today’s suite is the Painted Autumn Suite and you can view it closely on pages 48 & 49 of the catalog.  This suite of products includes the Painted Harvest stamp set and coordinating Leaf Punch (sold in a bundle to save you 10%) as well as the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper, Painted Autumn Cardstock Pack, Touches of Nature Elements and the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon.

You can create bold images that look like they’ve been water colored, only they’re not and it’s so easy to do with a little two step stampin’.

So let’s take a close look at this card which has the big sunflower as the focal point.  It’s been stamped on a square that’s been die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The leaves were stamped on the square as well and then stamped again on scrap paper and punched out with the Leaf Punch to give some more added dimension.  Check out the back ground… more leaves stamped tone on tone in Soft Sky Ink which adds some very subtle visual texture.  The pretty printed paper is from the suite as well and is called the Painted Harvest Designer Series Paper.  This particular print evokes a summery feel, especially when paired with the Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon.  The card is finished off with the beautiful sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set.
