Daisy Delight In Color

Today I’m sharing with you a card I made for our demonstrator gathering last weekend.  It features the Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy Punch.  I made the same exact card 5 times with the only difference being a new In Color on each card.  Each one features the Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper Stack and the 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon in the featured color. Both the sentiment and the daisy and leaf images come from the Daisy Delight stamp set.  This stamp set and punch (which can be purchased in a bundle for a 10% savings) was so popular during the demonstrator pre-order period, the sales of it exceeded the forecast for the product, so the Daisy Delight Bundle is not available until June 26th.

I love how each card uses the exact same layout, stamp set and accessory yet the mood of each card is so different simply by changing up the colors.  Look closely and you’ll see…on some of the cards I used the Clear faceted gems and on some I used the Gold Faceted gems…they are perfect on the daisies!  So, what do you think….what is your favorite new In Color?  I’m having a hard time trying to decide between Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.

Cut Out to be Friends

Stampin' Studio Crafting Forever stamp set, Stampin' Studio

I’ve got a fun card for you today featuring the Crafting Forever stamp set.  This super simple card is a great friendship card.  The scissor image and the sentiment both come from the Crafting Forever stamp set.  I love the row of scissors and the fact that the one is highlighted by coloring it in.  The Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Circle Framelits make the sentiment pop, and the whole this is finished off with a bit of Bermuda bay ribbon.

A Basket of Apples from the Bike Ride Stamp Set

Stampin' Up! Bike Ride stamp set, Wood Words stamp set, Stampin' Studio

I enjoy creating projects in unexpected ways, like this card I created using the Bike Ride stamp set.  As the name implies, this stamp set features a bike, and lots and lots of fun accessories to use with the bike.  My friend Amanda won this stamp set at our On Stage event back in April, so I asked her if I could borrow it to create a card prior to the annual catalog going live on June 1st, (I have since purchased it myself).   Of course I was dying to build a bike, but I decided to create a “non bike” project first.  This stamp set is so cool because, well, first of all there are 24 stamps in this photopolymer set and many of the images are two or three step stamping.  For instance, the basket was stamped first in Soft Suede with the basket weave image.  Next I stamped the “color” part of the basket in Soft Suede that was stamped off once.  I did a bit of fussy cutting on the basket, only because I didn’t have the Build a Bike Framelits, and I popped the basket up with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the bunch of apples which I colored in with Markers.  All of this was attached to layers of circles from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Circles Framelits.  The banner is a strip of the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper Stack that I punched with the Banner Triple Punch and stamped the sentiment from the Wood Words stamp set.  Oh yeah, one more thing, I don’t know if you spotted it or not but I created a debossed edge around the Whisper White Layer of the card by scoring the card stock 1/4″ and 3/8″ from the edge of all four sides.
