There is something so stunning about a card done in neutral tones, and this is certainly one of them.  The subtle neutral tones of Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla make this an understated yet sophisticated masterpiece.

I love everything about this card, from the delicate texture of the embossing from the Softly Falling Embossing Folder, to the fine details in the flower cut outs from the So Detailed Thinlits Dies, to the stitched matting made with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The So in Love stamp set, So Detailed Thinlits dies and the Si on Love Bundle are all on the Retiring Products List so get them before they’re gone.

Stampin’ Studio Tips

  • Measurements: Early Espresso: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for the Oval cut out.   Crumb Cake: 5-1/5″ x 2″ Very Vanilla: 5-1/2″ x 3″ for flower cut out and scrap for oval cut out
  • Tips:  Attach the flower cut out from the So Detailed Thinlits to the lower edge of the card front with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
  • Attach Embossed piece of Crumb Cake to the top portion of the card front.
  • Wrap Very Vanilla Ribbon around the card front and tie in a knot.
  • Stamp the sentiment from So in Love on the Very Vanilla oval and layer it on top the Early Espresso oval.  Pop this up to add some depth with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Succulent Garden Bundle, Oh So Succulent stamp set, Succulent Framelits Dies, Stampin' Studio

Soft and sweets shades of spring are obvious in today’s card featuring the Succulent Garden Suite.  This product suite is found on pages 20 & 21 in the Occasions catalog and all of these products are on the Retiring Product List.  The Oh So Succulent stamp set is offered at a 25% savings and the Succulent Framelits Dies are offered at 50% off, while the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper is 40% off.  Wow!  That’s a huge savings on making this card!  The color palette of Sweet Sugarplum, Old Olive and Mint Macaron come directly from the Succulent Garden DSP.

Stampin' Up! Succulent Garden Bundle, Oh So Succulent stamp set, Succulent Framelits Dies, Stampin' Studio

Here you can see how well the Designer Paper coordinates with the Framelits and the intricate cuts the Succulent Framelits make.  A piece of the Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape makes for an interesting division between the DSP and the solid color cardstock.  A few of the White Perfect Accents makes for a perfect balance of elements in the card.

Stampin’ Studio Tips

  • Measurements: Old Olive: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for the scallop circle. Sweet Sugarplum: 5-1/5″ x 4″ Vellum Cardstock : 5″ x 3-3/4″. Succulent Garden DSP: 5″ x 1-1/2″  5-1/2″ x 3/4″ Mint Macaron: scrap for succulent die cut.  Whisper White: scrap for circle.
  • Tips:  To attach the Vellum Cardstock without the adhesive showing, apply snail liberally on the left side where the DSP will cover it up and also where the Layering Circles go.  Then place glue dots under vellum where the White Perfect Accents will cover them up.

Stampin' Up! Balloon Adventures stamp set, Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies, Candle Builder Punch, Stampin' Studio

Here’s a super fun birthday card created using the Balloon Adventures Bundle which includes the Balloon Adventures stamp set and the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies.  Also incorporated in this card is the Candle Border Punch and the Party Animal Designer Series paper.  All of these items are in the Occasions catalog and are also on the Retiring Products List (some at a savings up to 50% off).  Today’s color palette comes from the Party Animal DSP.

Stampin' Up! Balloon Adventures stamp set, Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies, Candle Builder Punch, Stampin' Studio

Here you get a good look at the border made with the Candle Border Punch.  You can also see that the white parts of the balloons and the bow were all die cut with the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies.  The solid color balloons underneath, were punched out using the Balloon Bouquet Punch.

Stampin’ Studio Tips

  • Measurements: Tangerine Tango: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for balloon Crushed Curry: 5-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ and 5-1/2″ x 1/2″ for inside  Pacific Point: two pieces 5-1/2″ x 3/4″ and scrap for balloon & bow. Party Animal DSP: 5-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ Whisper White: scraps for balloons
  • Tips:  in order to get the two-toned candles punch a border of candles on the lower edge of the Tangerine Tango card base.  In the inside of the card attach one of the 3/4″ x 5-1/2″ pieces of Pacific Point cardstock and the 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Crushed Curry above it.  Now when the card is closed the blue and yellow show through the candles.
