As soon as I saw the new Watercolor Pencils in the Occasions Catalog, I knew they would go on back order within no time.  Well, they’re on backorder now, but they’ll be getting a bunch in to fill orders the middle of February.  Stampin’ Up! is anticipating they’ll be getting enough in to fill orders through this Thursday, then they’re not going to be able to be ordered for quite a while until they get another huge shipment in (and they don’t know when that will be).  So, what I’m saying is you’re going to want to get your order in for them by Thursday or you’re going to have to wait a long time for them.

I had a Watercolor Pencil class last night and this is one of the cards we made.  We used Watercolor Paper and colored on Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight with the Watercolor Pencils.  Next we took the Aqua Painter and blended the colors together in a graduated fashion letting the colors run into one another.  We traced around the hot air balloon which I die cut using the Up & Away Thinlits, then glued the multicolored piece to the back of the balloon for a multicolored hot air balloon.
