Birthday Bouquet Card Set

Project 7

If you’ve been following along the past week, you’ve been seeing all the fun and projects we did this year at Stampin’ Sisters retreat.  One thing that we look for is ways to get someone to fall in love with a product.  For this project group we focused on the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  Everyone received a roll of the Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon to take home.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

With a variety of stamp sets and styles this project group got them to take notice of this stunning designer paper.

Stampin' Sisters RetreatThe first card shows off both sides of the designer paper by cutting into the side about 1 1/2″ and folding those edges back.  The sentiment comes from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

Once again the sentiment is from Birthday Blooms and the flowers, which add a nice contrast of depth, were made with the Big Shot and the Botanical Builders Thinlits and embellished with the White Perfect Accents.

Isn’t it amazing how the the first 2 cards using the Birthday Bouquet DSP had a vintage feel to them and now from the same package of paper comes this whimsical card.  The confetti print inspired me to make a fun birthday card so the Balloon Celebration stamp set and the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch were an easy choice.

This card is all about the ice cream.  I am so in love with the sweetness of the ice cream cones in the designer paper and the fact that the Sprinkle of Life stamp set has an ice cream cone makes it perfect to use them together.  Not to mention the fact that the Tree Builder Punch punches out the ice cream, love it!  The adorable sentiment comes from the Apple of My Eye stamp set.

The soft and subtle flower image from Birthday Blooms was colored directly on the rubber with the Mossy Meadow and Watermelon Wonder In Color Stampin’ Write Markers.  Once the image was stamped, we took a blender pen and colored it over the stamped image which gave the very light shades of these two otherwise vivid colors.

The final card in this project group features every single print in the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  With the use of the 1″ Square Punch we were able to quickly get all 12 pieces of DSP the exact same size.  Once these squares were attached to the Blushing Bride card stock we ran it through the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder with the Big Shot.  This gave a quilted appearance to the card.  A simple sentiment from Cottage Greetings stamp set and flowers punched from the Pansy Flower Punch and the Petite Petals Punch finished the card off in a snap.

Birthday Present Scrapbook Box

Project 6

So our Stampin’ Sisters retreat ended a week ago, but I’m still not done showing you all of the great projects we made over the course of the weekend.  How about a scrapbook?  That’s right, this adorable box is actually a scrapbook!

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

You wouldn’t believe how simple this project was to make.  It uses the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper which certainly gives a festive feel.  The Gift Bow Bigz Die and the Big Shot made creating the bow on top a breeze.

When the lid is removed from the box the album explodes to life!  We decorated each flap in a different print from the It’s My Party DSP and photos and journaling can be added later.  The center piece is stamped with images from the Party Wishes stamp set.  The take home gift for this project was lots and lots of extra designer paper.

Thanks for coming back each day to see what I have to share with you.  More good things to come tomorrow.

A Nice Cuppa Card & Gift Set

Project 5

Because we are always looking for variety in our projects at our Stampin’ Sisters retreat we created a card and gift set featuring the A Nice Cuppa stamp set and the coordinating Cups and Kettles Framelits.  Everyone also went home with a package of the Have a Cuppa Embellishments.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

Lots of bright color from the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack and extra touches made this project one of the favorites.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

The Zig Zag Embossing Folder adds the perfect texture to this card while the sentiment comes from the Balloon Celebration stamp set.  Did you notice the addition of the spoon from the Have a Cuppa Embellishments?  Isn’t that adorable?

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

The stack of fancy tea cups, the tiny tea bag and the whimsical heart shaped steam were a breeze to create with the Big Shot and the Cups and Kettles Framelits.

The third card in this grouping is actually a Gift Card Holder that is made with the Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags.  The Wisteria Wonder card stock which is adorned with a fancy edge from the Curvy Corner Trio Punch pulls out for you to write your greeting and then the little pouch in front of the Wisteria Wonder piece is the prefect spot to tuck… oh I don’t know… maybe a Starbucks gift certificate.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

And now that we’re done with the cards, let me show you a couple of simple gift ideas.  This little pouch made from card stock holds a packet of hot chocolate.  The two little mugs were die cut with the Cups and Kettles Framelits too.

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

This gift idea stole the show on this grouping because, well first of all it’s just so sweet with the tea pot from the Have a Cuppa Embellishments and the Tea Lace Paper Doilies.  But then…

Stampin' Sisters Retreat

…check out the inside!  It holds a Biscotti and a couple tea bags, some sugar packets and even a silver spoon.  How’s that for an unexpected treat?

Tomorrow’s project is a scrapbook in a box which couldn’t be easier to make!
