Make it Monochromatic

I love the simplicity of this monochromatic card created by todays guest stamper Peggy Taylor.

Peggy chose the new In Color Mint Macaron and Whisper White and kept it simple.  The background is embossed with the Boho Chic Embossing Folder.  The striped paper is actually our Envelope paper which can be ordered either in a Neutrals pack or the In Color pack which she used here.  The gorgeous flower is from the stamp set called “You’ve Got This”.  It’s stamped in Mint Macaron and delicately cut by hand and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth.  Thanks for Sharing Peggy.

Let’s party with Katie C

Todays lovely card comes compliments of my guest stamper Katie Campbell who happens to be one of my team members and also my niece.

The Cherry on Top DSP with all of its festive glory sets the back drop as well as the color palate for this celebratory card.  Love the Deco Label layer with the circle punch, it really highlights the cupcake from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.  Did you also notice the Cherry on Top Washi Tape?  You can’t go wrong when you’ve got all these products that coordinate!

Christmas in July

I am so thrilled that we have Christmas stamp sets in the annual catalog.
There are many people that like to start on their holiday cards earlier…
like possibly in July.

I used the “Every Blessing” stamp set which makes for a stunning yet simple card, depicting the reason for the season.  I cut an opening in the front of the Marina Mist card base with the Ovals Collection Framelits.  Next I ran it through the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder to add some texture.  I attached a banner to the oval opening with the main sentiment.

I piece of Very Vanilla card stock lines the inside of the card and is the canvas for the silhouette image that shows through the front of the card when it’s closed.  I also strategically placed the inside greeting to hide behind the banner when the card is closed.
