Wendy Tikk is today’s feature artist.  She joined our team in March and is doing great, having earned her first promotion already in April.

 
With a Basic Black card base, and Watermelon Wonder and Whisper White elements, this card screams summer to me.  The fun Decorative Dots Embossing Folder simply adds to the whimsy of the design while the Sprinkles of Life stamp set is front and center.  Thanks for sharing Wendy!
 

Happy 4th of July!

Okay, I know I’m cheating a bit with this card because I posted it on Flag Day, but cut me some slack, it’s a holiday today!  You can see the details on the card on my June 14th post.
 
 
I plan on spending my day with Dave, my daughter Nicole and one of her room mates, Sara.  We’re going to the Framers Market on the Capital Square in Madison (best and largest Farmers Market in the country).  Next we’re spending  gorgeous day sailing on Lake Mendota.

A Yummy Birthday Card

As a kid it was a very special treat if Mom stopped at Dunkin Donuts and picked up a box of the Munchkins.  Do you remember those little donut holes?  I loved those things!  The tiny little donuts on this birthday card remind me of the Munchkins.
 
 
The stamp set is called Sprinkles on Top and it coordinates perfectly with the Cherry on Top DSP stack.  The card base measures 5 1/2″ tall x 6 1/4″ wide and is scored at 4 1/4 making the front flap 2″ wide.

 
I used the 3/4″ circle punch to punch out the donuts, but for the ones hat have a bite out of them, first I punched the bite out with the 1/2″ circle punch then punched out the rest of the donut.
