Soft and Smokey

Amazing how just one stamp pad (Smokey Slate in his case) looks so stunning on a card.

With the Smokey Slate card stock as the backdrop for this soft and subtle card it has depth with the use of the stamped off images from the Basic Butterfly stamp set..  A touch of color with Hello Honey ribbon and a Daffodil Delight button tied up with Smokey Slate Bakers Twine.  The die cut butterfly is from the Butterflies Thinlits which remember is being offered by Stampin’ Up! in a special deal for only 1 more week.

Love this Lady

I fell in love with the lady in the stamp set “Just Kidding” the moment I saw her.  I love her tone and sarcasm.

I used the Lullaby DSP for the color palate of So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Baked Brown Sugar. I like the way the circle extends off the rectangular mat and it’s balanced out with the banner on the left and the one on the bottom.

Here’s the inside of the card.

Celebration Party

Last night I held my Sale-a-bration Celebration Party.  This was a big celebration for those who hosted a party with me during Sale-a-bration, or joined my team or placed orders that totaled at least $150 during
Sale-e-bration.

We had Pink Lemonade, Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies and lots of Chocolate Candy…because chocolate and stamping go hand in hand.

My guests each received a package of the Hearts and Stars Decorative Masks.
We played 10 quick rounds of Bingo with Stampin’ Up! product as prizes.  For every $50 they ordered, they got to choose new product from my stash.  Some of the items were extra sale-a-bration items I had earned others were product from the catalogs.  Many things from the just released retired list were ordered as everyone wanted to get them before they’re gone.

As you can see from the photos everyone had a great time.

My stampers know how much I love chocolate and how much I love them, so this cute card was a great way to start the evening.

We used the Hearts Decorative Mask on the Blushing Bride card base by spritzing on top of the mask with Strawberry Slush reinker and rubbing alcohol in a Stampin’ Spritzer.  The sentiment is from the stamp set Lovely Amazing You and the chocolate Bon Bon’s are made by stamping the cupcake papers from the Cupcake Party stamp set and punching them out with the Cupcake Builder punch.  Next I cut off the bottom part of the cupcake to turn it into the liner for the Bon Bon’s.  A 3/4″ circle from Chocolate Chip card stock attached behind the decorative liner completes the Bon Bon’s.
Almost looks good enough to eat!

Don’t forget about the retired list

and by the way more items have just been added to the clearance rack.
