Skid marks, splotches and spills oh my!

You know how there are go to stamp sets for certain occasions?  Well for me this stamp set called “Gorgeous Grunge” is a go to stamp set for the guys in
my life.

You can’t go wrong with the skid marks, splotches and spills this stamp set creates.  The great thing about it is that they’re purposeful messes that help to create a card that’s perfect for a guy…even a guy that’s not messy.  The color palate of Crushed Curry, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate also add to the masculine feel.  This dear friends was another card we made this week at Fast & Fabulous card class.

A Card for Him

By far my number one request is for cards for the men in our lives.

Last night I had my monthly Fast & Fabulous card class and this time the focus was on masculine cards.  As the name implies, Fast & Fabulous is a card class where we make 4 cards that are very quick to make yet are impressive cards.  For this card I used the Adventure Bounds Designer Paper Stack for the wood grain background print as well as each of the vertical banners.  The sentiment from Guy Greetings is even stamped on a piece of the Designer Paper.  The finishing touch is the Silver Button tied up with a piece of Early Espresso Bakers Twine.  This card took about 3 minutes for everyone to make.  How’s that for fast?

Have you taken advantage of the FREE shipping offer?

Don’t forget Stampin’ Up! is offering FREE shipping on all orders of any size but only through this Friday.  That’s a 10% savings on EVERYTHING!

Thanks so very Much for the Response

I received this card from a fellow demonstrator in a swap I participated in at Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership Conference.

Everything about this card makes me smile: from the Daffodil Delight and Blackberry Bliss color combination, to the Large Polka Dot Embossed background, to the Banners made from the Banner Framelits, to the cheerful flower created with the Petal Potpourri stamp set and coordinating Flower Medallion Punch to he perfect finishing touch of the Daffodil Delight Seam Binding.

I was so touched with all of the comments I received I response to my 100,000 blog views and Blog Candy Contest.  I drew one name as the winner of the Blog Candy Giveaway, and she will receive the Bloom with Hope Exclusive Hostess stamp set and a package of Subtle Candy Dots.

Congratulations to my Blog Candy Winner Ann S. who wrote:

“Congratulations, Tina! What a milestone! As to the Subtles, who would have thought that In-your-face Calypso Coral would be a Subtle? I think that is my favorite ( right at this moment…things change!) with Pool Party being a close second. Love your cards and love what you did with the washi paper butterflies…great idea!”

Ann you have 24 hours to email me your address so I can get your package in the mail to you.
