Spring Birthday

Do you recognize this Designer Paper?  It’s one of the gorgeous prints from the Gold Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is so soft and sweet it reminds me of spring.  The flower from “Crazy About You” is stamped in Pistachio Pudding.  The “Hello You Thinlits” were used to die cut the “happy” fro Silver Foil Paper.  The banner of Cantaloupe Crisp is embossed with “Birthday” from the Crazy About You” stamp set I White Embossing Powder.

Time to show you another card!

For this card I went to my stash of Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets for the butterflies.  This stuff is so much fun to play with.  There are 4 different patterns in a package and you get 2″ x 12″ sheets of each.  I used the Bitty Butterfly Punch with the Washi Sheets, then pealed the backing off and stuck the to the Whisper White Banner.  Washi Sheets are like sticker sheets that are somewhat transparent, and they’re easy to reposition.
The sentiments on the car come from the “Hello Life” stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.

Chalkboard Wedding

If you spend any time on Pinterest you know how popular anything with a chalkboard look is.  This is one of the cards we made at my Stampin’ Bingo Monday night.

For this sweet wedding card I punched a hole with the 1 1/4″ circle punch in a piece of Chalkboard Paper cut 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″.  Next I used the Rose Coral Colorbox Chalk Ink with the “Your Perfect Day” stamp set.  Because the stamp set is a photopolymer set, I was able to easily stamp the wreath image to line up with the circle hole I punched.  The little “squiggles and leaves are drawn with the White Gel Pen.  I used the Delicate Designs embossing Folder for the front and inside lower edges.

The inside uses the same stamp set, Stazon ink, and the Pink Pirouette marker.

Come back tomorrow as I will have some Blog Candy (FREE giveaway)to celebrate a milestone on my blog.  Not to mention, one more card from Bingo to share with you.  It features the Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets.
See you then.
