Stampin’ Bingo

Last night was Stampin’ Bingo at my Stampin’ Studio.  We had a great time playing 6 games of Bingo where the prizes were Stampin’ Up! product.

It was my last event before the end of Sale-a-bration (today March 31st is the last chance to get FREE Sale-a-bration items)

Everyone that attended received a goodie bag with Candy Dots, Ribbon and Designer Series Paper as well as a coupon for $5 off an order.  We had snacks and did some stamping as well.

Jeanne J. won a bundle with the Chalkboard Paper and all three
Colorbox Chalk Inks.

Claudia won a bundle of “Gold” which featured Gold Vellum Paper, Gold Foil Paper, Gold Bakers Twine and Gold Designer Buttons.

Kathy won a Simply Sent card kit with a few other goodies.

Denise won twice and received the Berry Basket Die and an adhesive bundle with snail, glue dots, sticky strip, dimensionals…..

Jean S. hollered out BINGO three times during the night and racked in the product.  She said she’s not lucky and never wins…sure jean, sure 🙂

The final game of the evening was the grand prize Black Out Bingo.  Jill won the Color Caddy to hold all of the ink pads as well as a gift certificate for more merchandise of her choice.

Congratulations to all the players and winners of the evening.
Come back tomorrow when I’ll share the stamping we did between some
of the games.

For Peeps Sake

When I first saw the “For Peeps Sake” stamp set I knew I had to have it.  It’s just so darned cute!  With Easter nearly here, I thought I’d share a fun card I made a while back.

The card base is Coastal Cabana cut 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″.  Next I cut 1 1/4″ off the side of the front panel with the Paper Trimmer.  I put the front of the card in the Chevron Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot.  The 1 1/4″ circle punch was used to punch a half circle out of the front of the card.  The front was embellished with Calypso Coral card stock, Best Year Ever DSP and ribbon from the Accessory Pack.  For the inside of the card I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 5 1/4″ x 4″ and attached it to the inside of the card.  I closed the card front so that I could determine exact placement of the chick and stamped the him in Daffodil Delight Ink.  I then used the Calypso Coral Marker to trace over his feet and color in his beak.  I used the Project Life Pens to color in his eyes.

Here you can see what the rest of the inside of the card looks like.  I know one of my grand nieces or nephews will enjoy getting this card this weekend.

Clear Front Card

I wanted to share a card I made a while back that features Sale-a-bration products and our “Window Sheets” and creates a see through card front.

The card base is Calypso Coral cut 4 1/4″ wide by 7 1/4″ tall and scored at
5 1/2″.  A 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Window Sheet was attached to the back of the front flap.  I then attached another piece of Calypso Coral cut 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ to the bottom of the Window Sheet finishing off the front of the card.  Some Best Year Ever DSP and ribbon from the Best Day Ever Accessory Pack embellished the front of the card.  On the inside flap of the card I attached 2 more pieces of 4 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ Calypso Coral to the top and bottom of the Window Sheet so that it covered up the adhesive.

The Big Day stamp set was stamped in Stazon Ink on Whisper White card stock, colored in with Stampin’ Write Markers and attached to the inside of the card.
