Thanks for all you do

This is the final card we made the other night at my “New Sale-a-bration Products” class.  March 1st Stampin’ Up! added four new products to the offering.  Those new items are the “Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack”, the “In Color Accessory Pack”,”Natures Perfection” stamp set, and todays feature stamp set called “For Being You”.

I pulled out some of the “Best Year Ever Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper” for the background and also to stamp the word “Thanks” onto.  I hand cut the letters out after I stamped directly on the DSP (sorry no punch for that).  I used Soft Suede ink to stamp “Thanks” and “for all you do” on the Whisper White  card stock then I attached the DSP “Thanks” with snail.
It takes a little time to cut each letter out, but I think it leaves a cool impact on the card, so it’s worth it.

Oodles of Butterflies

You guessed it…more Sheer Perfection Vellum Paper and other
Sale-a-bration products.

The butterflies are all preprinted on the vellum paper and all I did was color them in on the backside with Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers and attach the vellum to Whisper White card stock using glue dots.  The card is embellished with a couple In color Buttons and Bakers Twine from the In Color Accessory Pack and the sentiment from “Simply Wonderful” (more Sale-a-bration products).

Sale-a-bration ends March 31st

A Person’s a Person No Matter How Small

I don’t know about you, but I think these little clovers look just like the little flower that Horton carried around in his trunk.  Remember the Dr. Seuss book “Horton Hears a Who”?

I just had to share another card I made using the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack and the Natures Perfection stamp set.  I stamped the flowers in Black Stazon and colored them in with Blender pens using Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow inks then I punched it out with a 2 1/2″ circle punch and layered it on the Blackberry Bliss cut out with the Windows Framelits Collection.  The bad of flowers is the printed Vellum paper which was colored on the backside with the same ink and blender pens.  The Butterfly was punched out with the Elegant Butterfly punch and popped up with a dimensional.

Both the Sheer Perfection Vellum and the Natures Perfection stamp set are
Sale-a-bration items you can choose with an order of $50 or more, but you’ve only got until March 31st and then they’re gone for good.
