Oooooh, how wonderful is the new Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack!?!
I used  a 3″ x 3″ piece of the printed vellum here and colored the flower centers with Hello Honey marker on the back side of the vellum.  Next I used the Simply Scored Stylus and the Stampin’ Pierce Mat to “draw” lines inside each flower petal (this gives us the white lines).  One thing to keep in mind when using vellum is how it gets attached to card stock without showing adhesive.  I strategically placed mini Glue Dots on the backside of the vellum in the “dark” areas to conceal the adhesive.  The vellum is attached to the 3 1/4″ Hello Honey card stock and attached to the Whisper White Layer.  Notice I also used some f the new Hello Honey Bakers Twine that comes in the In Color Accessory Pack which is a FREE Sale-a-bration choice.  7 days left of Sale-a-bration!  Get the FREE items before they’re gone for good.

How can you  not smile when you’ve got polka dots and stripes together with a fun font and a bit of bling?
 
 
 
Todays card was inspired by a card I saw at leadership.  I used the Sale-a-bration Specialty Paper called Irresistibly Yours. It is tone on tone of white and the magic happens when you apply ink to this fantastic paper.  I used Bermuda Bay ink which I rubbed on with a sponge dauber.  I started out with lots of ink and a heavy hand on the top edge of the paper and used less ink and a lighter hand as I neared the bottom edge of the paper for the hombre effect.  The large Polka Dot embossing folder does a great job of adding whimsy to the background.  The cheerful sentiment comes from the “So You” stamp set near the back of the Occasions catalog. 
 


Pretty Pink Painted Petals

I am totally loving the Artisan Embellishment Kit offered in the Occasions catalog this year.  There are so many pretty vintage embellishments to
choose from.
 
 
I decided to use a row of the Blush Blossom fabric roses down the side of this super feminine card.  The card base is Blush Blossom with a layer of Very Vanilla.  The flowers from Painted Petals is stamped in Blush Blossom and Pear Pizzazz.
