Hello Fall

Since it is officially Fall now, I thought I’s share an official Fall card.  Last night I had my Stamp of the Month class where the Wondrous Wreath was the featured set.  Of course the stamp set makes beautiful Christmas wreaths, but I wanted to think a little out of the box and show the versatility f the stamp set.
This fun fold is 5 1/2″ x 10 5/8″ and is scored at 2 1/8″, 6 3/8″, 1nd 8 1/2″.  This stamp set is great because of the layered stamping of Crushed Curry, Tangelo Twist and Cajun Craze that is created giving the image lots of depth and texture.

For the inside of the card, I stamped some of the “wreath leaves”  along the bottom of the card stock for the appearance of falling leaves.
Over the next few days I’ll be showcasing more fun samples using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set, so be sure to check back.

Making Spirits Bright

A cute stamp set, a fun fold, and a little bling in the paper makes for a fun and festive holiday card.  The card base is 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 5 1/2″.  I used the pretty specialty paper found in the All is Calm Designer Series Paper and paired it with Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler.  The focal point is the image from the “Making Spirits Bright” stamp set on the Window Framelits which, you know me, I had to layer.  The beverage was colored in using my Blendabilities which you know I love.  This is just a fun holiday card I’m sure many would love to receive.

Screen Fold Card

I love creating cards with unique or different folds, like this screen fold card.  I started out with a 5 1/2′ x 11″ piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock and scored it at 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″, and 8 1/4″.  The pretty border along the top is the new Confetti Stars punch.  The legs on the screen fold card were made by using the Decorative Labels punch.  I positioned the Decorative Labels punch so that a “tad” less than half of the punch was used.  I stamped the Ornamental Pines stamp set in Mossy Meadow with Soft Suede pinecones and Cherry Cobbler ornaments.  I love how impressive yet easy this fun fold is.
