Have you noticed how banners are all the rage these days.  Look around and you’ll see them everywhere, so why not put them on a card.  This banner is really easy to do because it’s a faux banner.  The pennants are popped up with dimensionals rather than attached to the string and bows made from bakers twine to give the look that it’s all attached.  This card was designed by my sister and fellow demonstrator Peggy.

No time like the present

We started up stamp club again this week after taking the month of December off.  This is one of the cards everyone made Tuesday night.  I had originally designed this card for the Creative Gathering we had with other demonstrators earlier in the month.  Can you see the possibilities with this layout how just by switching the color combinations, and use a different package of designer papers and a different ribbon, you can get such different looks.  Give it a try.

I am just amazed at how fast the time is going.  We’re already half way through January, and that means that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.  For this super simple card I used the Hearts Framelits to cut a heart out of the Whisper White Card stock which was layered on the Real Red card base.  Then another quick heart was popped up with Dimensionals and placed in the cut out.  The texture on the card is from the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.
