Adorable Halloween Baker’s Box

With only 2 weeks until Halloween I thought I’d share a fun Halloween Treat Box made with the Baker’s Boxes and the products from the Toil & Trouble Suite.  My team member Sandi Johnson designed this adorable box for a shoe box swap we did last month.  Sandi even provided the sweet treats to go inside, but as you can see they’re missing…yum!!

Each of the 4 sides of the box are adorned with Basic Black, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape layers and accented with Halloween items that have been die cut from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series paper.  That’s the really cool thing about the Toil & Trouble Suite; The Cauldron Framelits cut out many of the items from the DSP, (like the witch on the top of the box) so no need to fussy cut…yay!  For the top of the box, besides the witch, the spider web is also cut from the Cauldron Framelits, while the bats come from the Spooky Bats Punch

The Baker’s Boxes are measure 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ x 2-1/8″ and are the perfect size to wrap up donuts, cookies and other treats.  They’re white with a clear acetate window to showcase the treat.  The Baker’s Boxes are food safe and come 8 to a package.  Can’t you just imagine all of the great treats you can “fancy up” by packaging them in these boxes?!

Beautiful Blizzard Bundle

I’ve been trying to hold out and not share too many Christmas cards so early but let’s, Christmas is the time of year when most people send out the most greeting cards.  So I thought if you’re looking for ideas to get your mojo going, sooner is probably better than later, right?  So here we go….

Today’s Color Combo

I used an unconventional color palette for this card which I got from this print from the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The gorgeous background texture is from the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder.  It reminds me of the swirling and blowing of the snow from the winter winds. A simple banner of the Tranquil Tide and Mint Macaron print helps to draw your eye across the card, while the matted snowflake print adds visual interest and sets the stage for the delicate snowflake which was cut from the Blizzard Thinlit Die and attached with a Mini Glue Dot.  The simple banner sentiment comes from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set which is part of the Beautiful Blizzard Bundle (the Blizzard Framelit is the other part of the bundle).  Did you know you’ll save 10% on the products when you order the bundle?

Wishing You Well is perfect for Fall

I wanted to share I card I received from Lisa Lange at the Shoe Box Swap at our Holiday Hoopla last month.  This card using the Wishing You Well stamp set is pretty here in the photo, but in person it is gorgeous.

Lisa paired the stamp set with the Joyous Noels Specialty Designer Series Paper and the copper accents in the paper are gorgeous when paired with Soft Suede and Gray Granite ink.  She added tiny pearls that have been colored with the Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Marker for a coppery look.  The card is simple and understated and I love it!

The Wishing You Well stamp set may very well become your go to stamp set for All Occasion cards. The simplicity of the images and the beautiful fonts and sentiments make it a true treasure.
