This or That Thursday

Hey friends, it’s Thursday and you know what that means….it’s This or That Thursday.  I’ve got two cards that both use the same stamp sets and layout but I’ve changed up the colors and accessories.  So let’s check them out!

I wanted to add some interest without texture, so I used the new Marbled background stamp.  It’s so much more stunning in person than they way it looks in the catalog.  I think this will be one of my go to backgrounds now.  So for the first card I used tone on tone Night of Navy ink on Night of Navy card stock.  Next, the Lots of Labels Framelits were used to cut out the Daffodil Delight and Whisper White layers.  The sentiment, flowers and leaves all came from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and were stamped in Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist.  The finishing touch is the Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon which is scrumptious (put it on your list now, you’re going to love it!)

This time Bermuda Bay is the back ground color with layers of Lemon Lime Twist  and Whisper White.  The stamping is done in Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist and instead of a gingham bow this card has a bow made of Whisper White Bakers Twine.

This or That

So now, it’s time to let me know which you like better the Navy and yellow on the left or the blue and green on the right?

Outhouse card & Watch it Wednesday

Stampin' Up! Here for you, At Home With You Bundle, Wood Textures DSP, Stampin' Studio

My team member Tammy Dahlke made this card and I think the outhouse is just so “stinkin” cute (sorry, I couldn’t help myself).  It’s a pretty easy card to make even though it uses quite a few different products.  She started by adding texture the the Dapper Denim card stock with the Woodland Embossing Folder.  The outhouse is cut out of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack with the At Home Framelits.  The cut out moon on the door is from the Wood Crate Framelits and the pot of flowers is from the At Home with You Bundle (which includes the At Home Framelits.  The sentiment which is perfect for the visual of the card comes from the stamp set called Here for You.  Did you notice the handle on the door is one of the Gold Faceted Gems…how clever!

And here you can side the inside of the outhouse with a bench seat and a candle burning to shed a little light on things.  This is also made with the At Home With You Bundle.

Since it’s Watch it Wednesday, I’m sharing a short video featuring the At Home with You Bundle used on this card,  I hope you enjoy it.Supply List: click on photos to order
