Stampin' Up! Colorful Seasons stamp set, Seasonal Layers framelits, Stampin' Studio

Here’s another card featuring the Colorful Seasons Bundle ( Seasonal Layers Framelits and Colorful Seasons stamp set).  So many things I love on this card.  I used the “crackle paint” print from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack for the background.  I did a light wash of Soft Suede ink with my Aqua Painter along the lower edge of the paper to “ground” the chairs.  These chairs are created with the “two step stamping” technique which is, stamp the chair frames first in Soft Suede.  Next, ink up the canvas seats in Berry Burst ink and position them between the frame of the chairs.  This is easy to do because this stamp set is a photopolymer set and you can see through it so placement is a breeze.  The sentiment stamp actually says “just breath” and I only wanted the “breath” part of it, so I used the Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Marker and colored directly on “breath” part of the stamp.  The branch with the pretty flowers were cut out with the Seasonal Layers Framelits.  Notice the different colors of flowers on the branch.  I used the “paint chip” print (with multiple hues of Berry Burst)  from the Color Theory DSP Stack and die cut multiple flowers.  The final touch is the adorable pink drinks which I stamped off then die cut them out and popped them up off the arm of the chair with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

Stampin' Up! Colorful Seasons stamp set, Seasonal Layers framelits, Stampin' Studio

Dave just finished staining and assembling some Adirondack  chairs for around our fire pit and I thought this card was quite appropriate to share now.  This to me is the perfect summer time card, with the warm golden hues (from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack) and the Adirondack chair with a nice cold lemonade.  I adore the two step stampin’ of the branch with the flowers, very easy and so pretty.  The sentiment and the other stamped images are all from the Colorful Seasons stamp set and the chair and drink were both cut out with the Seasonal Layers Framelits.  This has been a super popular bundle.
