On Sale

I wanted to share a fun little Halloween treat I saw this past weekend at an event for demonstrators in Michigan.

Cookie Cutter Halloween

IS THIS NOT ADORABLE?!?  The coffin is Basic Black card stock cut from The Home Sweet Home Thinlits Die which is designed to build houses but it is the perfect size for this  vampire’s casket.  Once the casket is assembled candy was added and then (look very closely) there’s a piece of Window Sheet that separates the vampire from the candy.  The vampire is stamped using the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set and then punched out with the coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  There is also a Christmas stamp set  called Cookie Cutter Christmas that coordinates with the punch.

More Home Decor With Thoughtful Branches Bundle

Yesterday I shared my Fall and Winter  decor pieces and today I’ve got more home decor with Thoughtful Branches Bundle.  Today we’ve got Spring and Summer.  You can view Fall and Winter HERE

Thoughtful Branches Bundle

Home Decor for Spring

For Spring fall I started out with a background of Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry.  Next I layered a piece of Whisper White card stock which I embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.  For the hydrangea I used the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper and cut it our with the Beautiful Branches Thinlits.  To give added dimension, I cut out four more of the same image in Sweet Sugarplum and stacked them up behind the designer paper print.  The stem and leaves are cut out of Pear Pizzazz and attached to the brick wall with Multi Purpose Glue.

Home Deco for Summer

For Summer Dapper Denim and Calypso Coral were my go to colors.  I then layered on a piece of the By the Shore Designer Series Paper and started building my ocean scene.    The coral is the top part of the bare tree from the Beautiful Branches Thinlits cut in Calypso Coral.  I then stamped a few fish from the Seaside Shore stamp set and I hand cut around them.  I curled their tails and bodies with a bone folder to make it look like they’re moving through the water.

Thoughtful Branches

Hey Stampin’ Up announced some great news that they still have some of the Thoughtful Branches stamp set, bundles and the Beautiful Branches Thinlits left in their inventory, so rather than these products leaving us today as planned, they’ll stick around until the inventory is depleted.  That may give you an extra day or two to place that order for them.

Home decor with Thoughtful Branches Bundle

Today I’m sharing a home decor piece created with the Thoughtful Branches Bundle.  Thoughtful Branches and the coordinating Beautiful Branches Thinlits are available for a limited time and you’re running out of time if you haven’t purchased them yet.  They’re only available through August 31st and there are so many amazing things you can do with them.  I created this home decor piece with a purchased easel frame which I then made 7″ x 4 3/4″ inserts for all four seasons.

Home Decor for Fall

For fall I started out with a background of Tangerine Tango and Old Olive.  Next I layered a piece of Very Vanilla card stock which I stamp “splatters” from gorgeous Grunge in fall tones and ran it through the Woodlands Embossing Folder.  For the pumpkin stamped the oval shaped flower petals or leaves in Tangerine Tango on Tangerine Tango and cut it out with the coordinating thinlit.  I layered this on an oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits.  I stamped two leaves and the bottom of the tree trunk in Old Olive on Old Olive card stock and die cut those as well.  The finishing touch was a very thin piece of Old Olive which I wrapped around a pencil and attached to the pumpkin for the vines.

Home Decor for Winter

For winter I started out with a background of Soft Sky and Dapper Denim.  Next I layered a piece of Whisper White card stock which embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I embossed a second piece of Whisper White and tore the edge and attached it to the first layer with dimensionals to make a hill of snow.  I cut the tree with the Beautiful Branches Thinlits three times and layered them directly on top of one another for a more dimensional look.  I applied glue to the tree and hill of snow and sprinkled Dazzling Diamond Glitter to make everything sparkle.   The final step was stamping the bird in Dapper Denim and cutting him out with the thinlit before resting him in the tree.

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing the Spring and Summer inserts so be sure to come on back.
