World of Thanks

I just wanted to send a big shout out to all of you. The Stampin’ Up! year officially ended on June 30th and I wanted to tank you all for your continued support of my and my business. This year was one of my best years ever and it’s because of all of you. Thank you.

The World of Thanks stamp set provided the fun back ground behind the flower from You’ve Got This stamp set. Both were inked up in Blackberry Bliss on Very Vanilla card stock. For the flower I then water colored the flower with an Aqua Painter and Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow ink and then hand cut the flower. Notice how the Mossy Meadow ribbon comes right through the card stock? I did that with a little slit from the paper trimmer. I love that unexpected touch.

My blog Stampin’ Studio is 2 years old today! I can’t believe I’ve been posting every day for two years. I hope you’ve enjoyed the cards I’ve been sharing with you.

This was a fun card we made at my Summer Stamp Camp last week. I heard a number of times at the camp that the Wild About Flowers stamp set was the easiest 2 step stamping set that they’ve ever used. The flowers line up on the stems perfectly. The Designer Paper is the Melon Mambo from the Bright Color Stack. The sentiment comes from the Tin of Cards stamp set. Check out that set stampers…it’s a must have set.

More Butterflies

I’ve been playing around with the Watercolor Wings stamp set lately. I really enjoy adding the layers of 2 step Stampin’ to create a unique butterfly every time.

This time the butterfly is stamped in Delightful Dijon and Smoky Slate and cut out with the Bold Butterfly Framelits. In color Designer Series Paper Stack and Dotted Lace ribbon and texture and interest behind the focal point. The In Color Blossom Accents make for the perfect finishing touch.
