How about another Corner Flip Card?  I posted one back on June 11th and received a lot of ooohs and ahhhs, I thought I’d share another.

The stamp set is the new Watercolor Wings and the coordinating Bold Butterfly Framelits stamped in Blushing Bride and Early Espresso.  Notice the coordinating Butterfly Embossing Folder on the card base.  Love it!
Here’s how to construct the card itself.

Start with a regular 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of card stock which is scored and folded in half at 4 1/4″.  With the card stock horizontal, line the left edge of the card on the 3″ mark and position the cutting blade at the 3″ mark.  Now slide the cutting blade up to the 5/8″ mark so you’ve got a slit in the card.

One more cut to go and we’re home free.

Rotate the card stock clockwise so that the card is now vertical and line the long edge on the left at the 2 1/2″ mark  and position the cutting blade at the 3″ mark.  Now slide the cutting blade up to the 5/8″ mark so you’ve got a second slit in the card.

Now all you have to do is flip that top right corner to the outside and fold it down.

Then fold the card n half so that the flipped corner is on the outside.

To emboss the card unfold the flip and emboss then fold it back into place.

Celebrate You

I love the way Watermelon Wonder and Basic Black look together with
Whisper White.

The image and sentiments all come from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. I stamped the flower image in Watermelon Wonder ink on Whisper White and then rubbed the Blender Pen over the image which allows the just stamped ink to blend onto the paper creating light colored watermelon Wonder flowers.
Did you notice the layers of Labels created from the Tags & Labels Framelits?
I used Neutrals DSP Stack and the In Color Envelope Paper for the two banners which were cut using the Triple Banner Punch.

Me=Grateful

I wanted to create a simple card with some of the new Every Day Chic Washi Tape, so I laid down a couple strips and decided it needed a pop of color, so then I got out the Bohemian Washi Tape and added another stripe.

I added the sentiment from Me=Grateful and then decided to paint a flower, so I went to the beautiful flower from the You’ve Got This stamp set.  I stamped it in Memento ink and used an Aqua Painter and Rich Razzleberry ink to added shading and highlights, then I cut it out with my paper snips.

I added the matching sentiment to the inside along with another flower.
