Z-Fold Card

Make a special z-fold card for a special friend with the Gifts from the Garden stamp set.
 
 
The base of the card is cut 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 2 3/4″ and again at 5 1/2″ and folded to resemble a “Z” shape.  The flowers were colored directly on the stamp with Old Olive and Melon Mambo Markers.  The pots are Smoky Slate and are hand trimmed and popped up with dimensionals on layers from the Lots of Labels Framelits.

 
Make sure to only put adhesive on the left side of the Label layers so that you don’t stick your card shut.
 
 


Its a wreath or is it?

Don’t you just love the wreath of flowers on this card? 
Look again, because it’s not actually a wreath at all.
 
 
The stamp set Timeless Love has an image that is an arch of flowers but the way it’s positioned on this card with the vertical block of card stock and the horizontal sentiment block, it appears that the flowers continue behind the blocks.  The flowers are colored in with Stampin’ Write Markers in So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Pink Pirouette.
