Ohhh I love this card!

This llama from the stamp set “From the Herd” cracks me up!  Did you notice he’s wearing a party hat?

The festive confetti paper is from the Birthday bash DSP and it pairs great with the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim.

I think sometimes people shy away from this stamp set because they feel you have to color all of it in.  Not so!  It looks perfect on the inside just stamping it in black ink.  The fun fold of this card is done simply by using the Circle Card Thinlits to cut it out and fold on the score lines.

So Sweet of You

Very pretty and unassuming right?

But check it out… it’s got an easel fold. Isn’t that cool?

The card base is the normal 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″.

When you open the card up you’ll need to cut the right half of the flap off.

Score the left half of the flap at 2 1/8″.  Fold on the score line and this give you your easel stand.  Then you just attach the matted stamped layer to the bottom of the easel.
Notice the two punched out hearts?  They’re there to hold the easel up.

Classic Car & Card for Him

I think any guy would love this card.  There are no ribbons, bows or flowers…it’s simple classic and to the point.

Once again the stamp set used is “Guy Greetings” for the image and the sentiment.  Notice how well the Argyle embossing folder (retiring) coordinates with the design from the Back to Black DSP (also retiring).  It may be a little hard to see in the photo but Silver Foil Paper was used with the Argyle Embossing Folder which gives a little extra shine and texture to this card.
