Todays card is a fun shaker card that would be perfect for graduation.  In fact this special card will be  going to Megan, one of my daughter’s best friends, (like a second daughter to us) who will graduate from college next weekend.
 
 I used the “Hooray it’s your Day” stamp set and all of the die cut pieces like the star window, the star banner and the “for you” greeting all come from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die.  If you haven’t notice the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits on page 9 of the Occasions Catalog, you need to check it out immediately.  Yes, the die makes the cutest little treat bag that you can decorate, but the best part about these Thinlits is all of the extra parts and pieces you get to make all kinds of really cool stuff.  I attached  a piece of window sheet behind the Star window and used Shaker Frames (Now sold out from the retirement list) to raise this panel up enough to be able to put little confetti stars inside the shaker frame.  Now that the Shaker Frames are no longer available, you can still create the same great project by using the edges of our Stampin’ Dimensionals to create a frame behind the panel.

How about a bright and springy card to start the day off?
 
 
The flowers come from the “Mothers Love” stamp set, super cute, super simple.
Did you notice the scored lines above and below the stamped image?  The Simply Scored Scoring Tool was used to add a little texture this way.

 
Here’s the inside of the card.  The sentiments for the inside and outside of the card come from the “Just Kidding” stamp set and I whole heartedly agree wit the sentiments, how about you?
