For Mom

Mother’s Day is only a week away.  What will you do for the special “mom” in your life?

The flowers in the “Mother’s Love” stamp set are so basic and simple, like something I’d create while doodling as I talk on the phone.  What makes it such a great set to work with is that it’s a two step stamping set.  Stamp the stems, leaves and petals in step one, then marker the color for the leaves and petals directly on the stamp and you’ve got an explosion of color.

This great card was made by Peggy, my sister who happens to be my very first team member.

You Make Me Smile

With the bright rainbow colors, this card is sure to make you smile!  It’s just strips of card stock attached to the Whisper White layer.  The sentiments come from the “So You” stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.  The die cut arrow is from the “On Film” Framelits.  Did you notice the cloud behind the arrow?  That’s made using the Cupcake builder punch with a little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to make it sparkle.

Tickled Pink

I was tickled pink when I received this adorable card from my niece a
few weeks ago.

It features the retiring stamp set called “Flamingo Lingo” from the big catalog.  The flamingo, banner and flowers all come from the set and the banner coordinates with the Bitty Banners Framelits while the flowers coordinate with the Petite Petals Punch.  The Striped Scallop Thinlit makes an adorable back ground.

This is a very special stamp set because when you buy the Flamingo Lingo stamp set Stampin’ Up! will donate $3.00 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Together we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
