Pretty Packages

I so love packages that are decorated pretty.  For this card I used the Birthday Bash DSP for the gift boxes.  The lids are a strip of Night of Navy card stock popped up with Dimensionals.  The pretty silver bow is made from our awesome Bow Builder Punch and our Silver Foil Paper.  Makes for a pretty spectacular card don’t you think?

Project 8: Scrapbook Box

After the fun filled weekend of the Stampin’ Sisters Retreat, we thought it would be appropriate to have the final project be a scrapbook in a box that everyone could put their photos and memories of the weekend.

The entire scrapbook fits inside one of the Stampin’ Up! wood-mount stamp cases.  We decorated the outside with a piece of the Best Years Ever
Sale-a-bration DSP and stamped the image from “Friends who Know”.

The scrapbook is accordion folded and is embellished with more DSP, “From the Heard” and “Snapshot” stamp sets and the “On Film” Framelits.

One final thought about retreat; It was a blast and I only wish all of you could come to retreat and experience it first hand.  Please consider joining in on the fun next year.  Sign up will be in July.  I wanted to end this post with one of the many thank you cards I received after retreat.

” Tina, I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful retreat weekend!  You far exceeded any thoughts I had on how much fun I would have and it was truly one of the most fun things I have ever done for myself.  I already miss the people and the fun times that we had.  You have absolutely turned this “newbie” into a “lifer”.     –Jill T.

Project 7: Kids Cards

At our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat we made card sets for men and women, and now it’s time for cards for kids.  True kids or kids at heart will love these cards.

Every kid loves Lego’s right?  We used the Brights Candy Dots to turn little scraps of card stock into Lego’s.

How about an Etch-a-sketch cards featuring “From the Heard” stamp set?

The xylophone card is super simple and will bring a smile to the face of the recipient.

To get the curved strips, I inserted the card stock into the backside of the punch.

And finally, how about a Smart Phone card for the teen in your life? The “Just Sayin'” stamp set is the perfect set for this card.

Tomorrow I will show our final project from Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.  It’s a scrapbook in a box.  See you then.
