I’ve really been using the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper a lot lately because of the bright cheery colors. The paper gave me inspiration to create this Penguin Place Bundle Birthday card. To add to the fun, this card has a smaller front panel so that the diagonal stripe that’s attached to the inside of the card can be seen when the card is closed.
Color Combo
Measurements:
- Thick Whisper White 9-3/4” x 4-1/4” Score @ 5-1/2””
- Coastal Cabana 4“ x 4“
- Whisper White – 4-1/4” x 2-1/2” and 4-1/4” x 3”
- Pattern Party DSP (diagonal stripe) 1-1/8” x 4”
Instructions :
- Fold Thick Whisper White on score line (the smaller portion is the front of the card) Attach the striped Pattern Party DSP to the inside of the card along the right side. Then attach the Coastal Cabana piece to the front of the card
- On the larger Basic White piece stamp the Penguin in Memento ink and the feet and beak in Pumpkin Pie and cut out with the Penguin Builder Punch
- Stamp the balloon on the same piece of cardstock, once in each of the colors, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana. Then fussy cut each balloon.
- Lay the penguin on the small Basic White piece, but DO NOT attach it yet (this is for placement of presents). Stamp the present on either side of the penguin as shown once in each of the colors Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana.
- Remove the penguin and stamp the balloon string where his hand would be and stamp “happy Birthday” to the left of the string, then attach this piece to the front of the card
- Attach the penguin and balloons to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
PLEASE NOTE: The Penguin Place Bundle; (Penguin Place stamp set and coordinating Penguin Builder Punch) is not available to order right now, but it is expected to be available the week of November 1st. The Penguin Place stamp set, how ever can be ordered now.
